She obtained her BS from the University of Veliko Tarnovo (School of Bulgarian Philology) and pursued postgraduate studies in Old Church Slavonic language at the same school. She was taught Bulgarian as a foreign language at the Institute for Balkan Studies (IMXA, 1998-2007) and she is evaluator of the Bulgarian language Certificate exams. She teaches Bulgarian language and literature at the Department of Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies at the University of Macedonia since 2000.
