Dear Students,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have the great joy and honor of welcoming you to the International Symposium \u201cRomanian as a Foreign Language. Language and Culture: Entities in Continuous Re-Harmonization<\/strong>\u201c, 2nd Edition<\/strong>, taking place from May 16 to 17, 2025<\/strong>, at the Universityof Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s event provides a space for knowledge and direct communication for international students learning the Romanian language: within the Romanian language, culture, and civilization Lectureships established by the Institute of the Romanian Language, Bucharest (ILR), at various universities worldwide, in the Preparatory Year programs, as well as in the undergraduate, master\u2019s, and doctoral programs of universities in Romania or abroad. These students come from very diverse cultural backgrounds, from Europe, Asia, and Africa. Furthermore, the theme proposes a valuable exchange of experience among specialists, as well as the opportunity to examine the process of teaching-learning-assessment of Romanian as a foreign language, in relation to the current European level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the liberalization of borders and movement, and the opportunity to engage with various cultures and mentalities, people have become increasingly eager to learn as many foreign languages as possible. These languages are progressively demonstrating their role as cultural connectors<\/em>, prolific means of intercultural communication<\/em>, and pathways to access the global cultural and linguistic heritage.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reality of the moment opens up to the mutual understanding of so many cultures, driven by the common desire to achieve a harmonious and coherent transcontinental dialogue. From this perspective, the use of the Romanian language emerges as one of the most desirable and useful instruments of cultural and social mediation, serving as an effective factor in addressing the new demands of the socio-human environment. Intercultural dialogue gains new perspectives, and this fact requires and stimulates the improvement of the means of mastering the mechanisms necessary for linguistic communication<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avem deosebita bucurie \u0219i onoare de a v\u0103 \u00eent\u00e2mpina la Simpozionul Interna\u021bional aniversar Rom\u00e2na ca limb\u0103 str\u0103in\u0103. Limb\u0103 \u015fi cultur\u0103: entit\u0103\u021bi \u00een continu\u0103 rearmonizare \u2013 Edi\u021bia a II-a. cu desf\u0103\u0219urare \u00eentre 16 \u2013 17 mai 2025, la Universitatea \u201eMakedon\u00eda\u201d din Thessaloniki, Grecia. Evenimentul din acest an ofer\u0103 crearea unui spa\u021biu de cunoa\u0219tere \u0219i comunicare direct\u0103 pentru studen\u021bii interna\u021bionali care \u00eenva\u021b\u0103 limba rom\u00e2n\u0103: \u00een cadrul Lectoratelor de limb\u0103, cultur\u0103 \u0219i civiliza\u021bie rom\u00e2neasc\u0103 din diverse universit\u0103\u021bi ale lumii, \u00eenfiin\u021bate de Institutul Limbii Rom\u00e2ne, Bucure\u0219ti (ILR), \u00een programele de An Preg\u0103titor, \u00een programele de licen\u0163\u0103, masterat, doctorat ale universit\u0103\u0163ilor din Rom\u00e2nia sau din exterior. Ace\u0219ti studen\u021bi provin din spa\u021bii culturale foarte diverse, din Europa, Asia, Africa. De asemenea, tema propune un schimb util de experien\u021b\u0103 \u00eentre speciali\u0219ti, precum \u015fi posibilitatea examin\u0103rii procesului de predare-\u00eensu\u0219ire-evaluare a rom\u00e2nei ca limb\u0103 str\u0103in\u0103, \u00een raport cu nivelul european actual.
Odat\u0103 cu liberalizarea frontierelor \u0219i a circula\u021biei, a posibilit\u0103\u021bii de a intra \u00een contact cu diferite culturi \u0219i mentalit\u0103\u021bi, oamenii au devenit din ce \u00een ce mai doritori s\u0103 \u00eenve\u021be c\u00e2t mai multe limbi str\u0103ine. Acestea \u00ee\u0219i demonstreaz\u0103 din ce \u00een ce mai mult rolul de conectori culturali, mijloace prolifice de comunicare intercultural\u0103 \u0219i de c\u0103i de acces la patrimoniul cultural \u0219i lingvistic global.
Realitatea momentului se deschide spre cunoa\u0219terea reciproc\u0103 a at\u00e2t de multor culturi, \u00een dorin\u021ba comun\u0103 de a realiza un dialog transcontinental, armonios \u0219i coerent. Plec\u00e2nd de aici, utilizarea limbii rom\u00e2ne apare ca unul dintre cele mai dezirabile \u0219i utile instrumente de mediere cultural\u0103 \u0219i social\u0103, ca factor eficient pentru solu\u021bionarea noilor cerin\u021be ale mediului socio-uman. Dialogul intercultural c\u00e2\u0219tig\u0103 noi perspective, iar acest fapt solicit\u0103 \u0219i stimuleaz\u0103 perfec\u021bionarea modalit\u0103\u021bilor de \u00eensu\u0219ire a mecanismelor necesare comunic\u0103rii lingvistice.
