Objects, Methods and Limits of the Global Approach in Mediterranean Studies&#8221; to be held at the MMSH (Aix-en-Provence) and the Mucem (Marseille) from November 18 to 22, 2024.<\/strong><br>This workshop, organized in collaboration with Mucem, is aimed at <strong>doctoral candidates and young postdoctoral researchers <\/strong>from the GlobalMed partner research teams.\u00a0 Candidates from all disciplines should demonstrate an interest in the global approach as part of their doctoral or post-doctoral research topic.<br><br>The goals of the workshop are to provide participants with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An in-depth look at the concept of &#8220;global&#8221;: history of the concept and issues of scale, epistemological issues, major publications\/works, implementation of interdisciplinarity,<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A reflection on the objects of study of the global approach and the methods and concepts mobilized in their respective fields of research and in other disciplines,<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A reflection on the limits and critiques of the global approach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Details of the call for proposals can be found in the attached document.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The deadline for applications is June 28, 2024, <\/strong>and applications should be sent to the e-mail address: <a href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\\Users\\user\\Desktop\\maria-jose.jarrin-yanez@univ-amu.fr\">maria-jose.jarrin-yanez@univ-amu.fr<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><a id=\"wp-block-file--media-71fbb8d0-aeb3-4997-bc17-80308f856c5d\" href=\"https:\/\/cbg-lab.uom.gr\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/06\/20240528_GlobalMed_Atelier_Doctoral_AAC.pdf\">20240528_GlobalMed_Atelier_Doctoral_AAC<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/cbg-lab.uom.gr\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/06\/20240528_GlobalMed_Atelier_Doctoral_AAC.pdf\" class=\"wp-block-file__button wp-element-button\" download aria-describedby=\"wp-block-file--media-71fbb8d0-aeb3-4997-bc17-80308f856c5d\">Download<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Culture-Borders-Gender\/Lab, of the Department of Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies of the University of Macedonia, as a member of the GlobalMed network, participates in the organization of the first doctoral workshop of the GlobalMed network &#8220;Did you say global?
