Clubs

Clubs are meant to promote communication and cooperation between academic staff, students and the wider public in non-strictly ‘academic’ activities. Language learning and literature reading events are effective ways to familiarize oneself with different cultures and peoples and reach wider audiences.

Trying to bring together academic staff, students and wider public, our Lab,  supports the operation of various clubs such as the  SLAVIC LANGUAGES CLUB and THE TURKISH LANGUAGE CLUB which are affiliated either in the tradition of REGIONAL LANGUAGE TEACHING but also, they promote ethnographic exploration and experimentation, such as ETHNOGRAFIES:

Social Anthropology Seminars/Lecture Series

ristotle University/University of Macedonia
 Lecture series on “Social Anthropology and Folklore”. The lectures take place at the Department of History and Archeology, Aristotle University, Study of Folklore and Social Anthropology –Room 104-105.
