Post-doctoral fellow in the University of Macedonia (faculty of Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies) and documentalist in the Institute of Social Sciences of Work in the University Paris 1 – Panthéon-Sorbonne. He obtained his PhD in Sociology in the University Paris 8 – Vincennes-Saint-Denis; his thesis was on family strategies of social mobility and reproduction in contemporary Greece. His research interests focus on economic sociology, diasporas and sociology of migration and sociology of family. He has also taught sociology in the University Paris 13 – Sorbonne Paris Nord.
